摘要
以Searle的言语行为理论为依据,侧重分析言外之力在话语中的表现形式和作用。文章的话语语篇采用了曹禺的《日出》,说明言外之力可以通过感情意义、语境信息和句法结构来表达。同时,在戏剧当中言外之力可以表现人物的心理活动并加速戏剧高潮的到来。
Drawing on John Searle＇s Speech Act Theory, this article explores performances and functions of illocutionary force in discourse by conducting an in-depth discourse analysis of the Chinese classic drama Sunrise by Caoyu. The article concludes that illocutionary force can be expressed through emotional meaning, contextual information and syntactic structures, and meanwhile illocutionary force lends itself well to the revelation of the characters＇ psychological activities and helps to accelerate the coming of climax in a drama.
