论英语音标系统的更新及RP的渐变

The Changes in the System of Transcription and Received Pronunciation

围绕音标体系,对Jones音标体系与Giomson音标体系进行了粗略的对比,从而讨论了国际音标更新的问题,旨在帮助我国广大英语学习者和教师熟悉该体系,并正确使用它,以减少几种音标体系可能给学习者带来的混乱。同时初步探讨了RP的渐变,包括已经完成的变化,几乎完成的变化,正在发生的变化,即将发生的变化,使广大英语学习者清楚地认识到RP不是一成不变的,要适应这一变化。

This paper makes a rude comparison between Jones＇ system of transcription and Gimson＇s. And it also explores the changes of the IPA , whase purpose is to help the teachers and students in China understand Gimson＇s system of transcription better, and use it correctly. As a result, it can lessen the confusion possible which several systems bring to the learners. Meanwhile, the paper explores the changes of the Received Pronunciation（RP ）, including changes wen-established, changes almost complete, recent innovations and innovations an the verge of RP. It will show the learners that RP is not Invariable. The Engliah learners should adapt themselves to these changes.
