影响南疆维吾尔族女性受教育的原因及对策

On the Reasons and Countermeasures for the Factors Affecting Uygur Women's Education in South Xinjiang

新疆南疆维吾尔族女性因受重男轻女思想、维吾尔族传统婚姻观念、经济相对落后等影响,使其受教育程度相对滞后。故应从发挥宗教人士的积极作用,摒弃陈旧思想观念,重视女性教育等方面加大力度,从整体上提高南疆维吾尔族女性受教育的层次。

Strongly influenced by the backward economy and some traditional ideas of marriage, Uygur Women in South Xinjiang receive much less education. Considering that, some countermeasures should be taken such as the full role religious personages play in the education of women, abandonment of old ideas, and greater importance attached to women＇s education so as to improve the women＇s education in an overall manner.
