On Aesthetical Functions of Five Main Types of Sentiments in Contemporary Chinese Ethnic Songs

现代中国民族歌曲中五种主要情感类型的审美功能包括对社会和对个体的审美功能两个方面。现代中国民族歌曲对社会和对个体的审美功能彼此依存、相互影响,后者为前者的实现提供主观前提、奠定微观基础,前者为后者的实现预备客观条件、营造宏观环境。

The aesthetical functions of five main types of sentiments in contemporary Chinese ethnic songs can be classified into two categories, i.e. for communities and for individuals. These two sorts of aesthetical functions are interdependent on and interactive with each other, the latter provides the subjective premises and settles down the microscopic foundation for the realization of the former, while the former prepares the objective conditions and works out the macroscopic environment for the achievement of the latter.
