相当多的研究者认为,新疆东部黄山—镜儿泉杂岩为蛇绿混杂岩,是板块俯冲的标志。本文的研究表明:该杂岩带的物质形成是弧间伸展的产物,后因弧间闭合,形成了现今所见的混杂岩。
One of the keys to understanding the Huangshan-Jing'erquan complex ineastern Xinjiang is to explain its tectonic setting.Most researchers suggested previously that the complex was an ophiolite melange,a mark of plate subductionzone.The study in this paper displays that the mafic-ultramafic rocks in thecomplex can't be regarded as a component of ophiolite because of their characteristicsof thermal intrusive emplacement.The hi-modal volcanic rocks and sediments inthe complex belt were related to the crustal extension and formation of grabens inthe Early to Middle Carboniferous.The complex is bounded by high-angledipping west-east trending faults. Both north and south borders are defined byKangguer fault and Yamanshu fault, respectively. The faults developed from earlyextension to late compression resulting of formation of high-angle thrust faults.Regional tectonic analysis shows that the complex was formed in an inter-arcextensional setting and the melange presented today was a product of inter-arcclosure during late Paleozoic arc- arc collision.
