The study on competition information in our country is very extensive at present, especially the theoretical research of the competition information. But taking a view of its current situation in China, we can get few successful examples of it being used in the development of society and enterprises. This article, taking it as an example that Shanghai Xiongcheng Gas Company benefited in the development of products from the application of ＂reverse engineering＂ in competition information, provides references for relevant researcher.
