摘要
美国大学中教学被忽视存在着制度层面的原因,美国为提高教师教学能力采取了一些措施。从大学观、评价制度和终身教授制三个方面来探讨美国大学改善教学的若干问题,或许会对我国大学提高教师教学能力有所启示。
The aspect of teaching has been ignored in the United States universities due to the system. However, measures have been taken in American universities with a commitment to improve the teaching competence of the instructors. As well, the writer of the paper accounts for the evaluating and stimulating systems that might as well serve Chinese counterparts, aiming at improving the teaching competence of the university teaching staff.
