The surface area of the water in rain gauge often change because of the shaking of the research vessel, so the precipitation measurement on the sea always has big error. This article introduced a kind of simple precipitation measurement tool which is adapted to use in the research vessel. It uses peg-top balance equipment to maintain ombrometer＇ s relative balance, so it can eliminate the impact of the research vessel＇s shaking. The test result shows it possesses practicability and value of generalization.
