The total transition of Shenzhen TV from analog to digital was officially launched on July 1st. 2005, since when it took only 8 months to complete the total transition in this special zone for 600,000 users, which, as a DTV pilot project, smoothly passed a SARFT acceptance check. Why was able Shenzhen to complete the total transition to DTV so steady. harmoniously and efficiently as to create an exciting 'Shenzhen speed'? On basis of previous interviews published in issue No.3, our Journal opened this special column to publish articles written by invited leaders and engineers of Shenzhen Topway Video Communication Co Ltd, which look on the total transition to DTV. These articles discuss matters of interest in the current development of DTV and pass on experience in the successful implementation of the total transition to DTV.
