Construction of learning support and service system in distance education

通过对江门电大构建的现代远程开放教育学习支持服务系统实践的分析,尝试总结出一些具有参考价值的学习支持服务系统模型。希望能得到新的启发,努力实现以学生为中心,为学生的学习提供全方位、优质高效的服务,深化教学改革,促进师生互动,体现人文关怀,构建和谐发展的现代远程教育。

Constructing learning support system of modern distance education and providing all-around quality and effective services are premise to guarantee quality of distance education and a basis to impel distance education in harmonious and healthy development. The paper first expounds on the guiding ideology of constructing learning support system and then he summarizes four rudimentary principles of constructing the system: human-oriented principle, all-around service principle, core resources principle, and 'first in command' principle. From different layers and perspective, learning support system is composed by different, but related systematic modules and they are formed in different structure models. The author summarizes five kinds of learning support system models in the light of the practice in constructing learning support system at Jiangmen RTVU and then offers a detailed description of the five models in their definition, basic structure, features and advantages. The author believes that through summarizing the ideological system and practical models of constructing learning support system, it will probably affect the development of distance education and even the whole education; it will beneficial to impel the popularization of the all-around service concept and will be of great significance in building up a life-long learning system and learning society.
