甘肃省农村中小学现代远程教育发展现状分析 被引量:1

Analysis of the current status of modern distance education development in rural primary and secondary schools in Gansu

摘要 本文从甘肃省农村中小学现代远程教育建设和发展的现状入手,分析了甘肃省农村中小学现代远程教育实施中存在的主要问题,提出了加快甘肃省农村中小学现代远程教育可持续发展的主要措施。 Gansu is located in the northwest hinterland of our country with comparatively bad natural conditions and weak infrastructure in education. Rural primary and secondary education level is comparatively backward. The implementation of modern distance education engineering will facilitate to induce the quality education resources from outside into the region, help in urban and rural resource sharing, reduce the gap of digital divide, increase education quality and efficiency for rural primary and secondary schools and will also shorten the education gap between east and west to realize balanced development of basic education. The paper first introduces the background and develepment of how the project of modern distance education for rural primary and secondary schools, particularly the project construction of the exemplary district in Gansu since August, 2003. Meanwhile the paper provides a brief introduction of other rural distance education projects being implemented in Gansu for the past years. Through three-year construction, more than 5000 ground satellite receiving stations have been built up in most of the rural primary and secondary schools in Gansu. The teaching broadcasting venues and computer labs constructed have covered most of the rural primary and secondary schools in Gansu, which creates favorable conditions for constructing comprehensively the modern distance education system in Gansu rural primary and secondary schools. On the basis of summarizing the achievements, the authors have made analysis of some main issues existed in developing modern distance education in Gansu rural primary and secondary schools. and propose seven countermeasures to fasten the sustainable development of modern distance education in Gansu rural primary and secondary schools.
