A 5-Year Before-and After Comparison of Lung Function in Asbestos Workers

摘要 为寻找反应石棉工人肺功能损伤的最早、最敏感的指标,作者采用水封式肺量计和弥散功能测定仪对119名男性石棉作业工人1989年和1994年的肺功能进行了测定,并比较其5年前后各项指标的变化情况。其中健康接尘组50例,石棉肺现在对象25例,Ⅰ期石棉肺患者36例,Ⅱ期右棉肺患者8例。结果显示:5年后4组工人的用力肺活量(FVC),第一秒呼气量(FEV1)和弥散数(DLco)值均有降低,其中FVC和DLco值与5年前比较有显著性差异(P<0.05);5年后Ⅱ期石棉肺组FVC值下降显著,与其它三组比较有显著性差异(P<0.01),表明Ⅱ期病肺功能下降迅速。作者认为DLco和FVC是反映石棉工人肺功能损伤最早、最敏感的指标。 A 5-year before-and-after comparisonof lung function vvas carried out in 119 male asbestosworkers. Of them 50 were healthy workers(0), 25were patients with suspectable asbestosis(0+),36with Stage Ⅰ asbestosis(Ias) and 8 with Stage Ⅱ as-bes-tosis(Ⅱ as ). The findings measured for beforeand after 5 years revealed that FVC, FEV and DLcodeclined in the four grou ps over the whole period ofobservation. Tbedecrease in FVC and DLco was mostmarked and the differences were statistically signifi-cant (P<0. 05 ).Comparison among four groupsshowed that all indices of lung function in Group Ⅱ asreduced significantly after 5 years (P<0.01), indicat-ing a rapid decrease of lung function in Group Ⅱ as. Itis suggested that FVC and DLco are the most sensitiveindices in detecting very early abnormalities of lungfunction in asbestos workers.
