摘要 英语儿歌和游戏在小学英语教学过程中的应用符合小学适龄儿童的心理特征,体现了寓教于乐的教学思想,突出了小学英语教学以活动为主的特点,同时也满足了新课程标准的要求。面对众多小教英语专业的学生,如何把小学英语儿歌和游戏作为一门理论与实践相结合的专业课程来设置,是我们目前面临的一个问题。 The application of English Songs & Chants Performance and Games accords with the characteristics of the pupil' s psychology and it satisfies the requirements of the New Curriculum as well as reflects the teaching idea of living is learning. The activity is the dominating way of English teaching in the primary schools. However, by facing so many students from the elementary school teaching of English major, how to carry out this new course as the professional curriculum via combining the theory with the practice is the main problem today.
