集群通信系统是一种资源共享、专网共建、统一管理的多用途、高效能的先进移动指挥调度系统。本文以美国Ｍｏｔｏｒｏｌａ公司最先进的智慧区（ＳｍａｒｔＺｏｎｅ）广域网集群通信系统为例，全面介绍了集群系统的组成、基本原理、用户组网和集群通信的主要功能．
Trunking communications system is an advanced mobile dispatching system with multi-uses and high efficiency.In the system resources are shared special networks are jointly constructed and management is centralized. Taking Motorola's SmartZone wide area trunking communications system as an example, this paper deals with in detail the trunking system's composition, basic principles user's networks and main functions.
