This paper descrihes the abnormal situations in the drilling process of Awang well 2 which lies in Iran hasin. The abnormal situations include gas communication, salt water communication, slight overflow and treatments. The practices show that some methods like the stepped well killing and near halance drilling are adopted to make the drilling succeed in this area.
