本刊讯：今年是中国与东盟建立对话伙伴关系15周年和中国-东盟友好合作年，一系列纪念活动将隆重举行。作为该系列活动的重要组成部分，第三届中国-东盟博览会届时将成为中国和全世界瞩目的焦点，这对本届博览会的筹备工作提出了新的更高的要求。2006年4月，由商务部主持召开的第三届中国-东盟博览会筹备工作会议在广西南宁召开，标志着第三届中国-东盟博览会国内招商招展工作全面启动。广西壮族自治区副主席、中国-东盟博览会组委会副主任兼秘书长李金早指出，本次筹备会是第三届博览会召开之前十分关键的一次会议，对第三届博览会的威功举办具有决定性的意义，对承办方是一个很大的鼓舞。
