On the Development of Translatior’s Awareness of Context

语境是与语恒运用相关的语恒现象,语境对特定的词语或语段的意义会产生影响,它可以限制对词语、词组及句子可恒有的种种解释范围。语恒语境、情景语境及文化语境同翻译密切相关,译者树立语境意识是非常必要的。

Context is a kind of linguistic phenomenon related to the use of language. It exerts much influence on determining the meaning of a specific word or passage, as well as the whole text. It also limits the range of possible interpretation of a word, phrase, sentence etc. Linguistic context, situational context and cultural context are closely related to translation, so it＇s necessary that translators should develop their awateness of context.
