On HuangYanpei’s Patriotic Viewpoint of Professional Education

黄炎培是我国近现代著名的爱国主义者和民主主义教育家,也是我国现代职业教育的奠基人,为了改变中国在世界上的落后之境,他把立足点放在办教育上。他坚信,职业教育只有在民族解放、民主平等、人民幸福的社会里,才能实现其造福人民的理想,而职业教育的努力,则能加速民族的解放、人民幸福。这些教育爱国理论与实践,在今天仍有现实意义。

HuangYanpei, a famous patriot and educator of nationalism in Chinese modem times, was also the founder of modem professional education of our country. He dedicated himself to education in order to change the backwardness of China： He was affimed that professional education can be used to benefit the people only in a society of national liberation, democratic equality where the people feel happy. What＇s more, the effort made in professional education can speed up national liberation and the people＇s well-being. These theories and practice of educational patriotism are of realistic significance even at present time.
