镇江焦山碑林在金石、书法、文字、文化研究史上有着独特的地位。时贤的两部有关焦山石刻和碑林研究的论著中,存在一些文字上的疏漏。纠正这些疏漏,对正确辨认焦山碑林文字,促进“焦山碑林数字化建设”的课题研究,有着重要的作用。

Jiaoshan Forest of Steles enjoys a special status in the history of the study of inscriptions on ancient bronzes and stone tablets, calligraphy, Chinese characters, and culture.
