听力水平的提高一直是困扰中国英语学习者和广大英语教师的主要问题之一,而听力教学又是大学英语教学中的薄弱环节。本文尝试将元认知理论与语篇理论有效地应用到听力教学中,提出了改进大学英语听力教学的有效方法,帮助学生克服听力障碍从而提高听力理解能力。

How to improve listening comprehension is one of the problems that plague English - learners and English teachers in China. As a partial solution to the problem, this article works from the metacognitive theory and textual theory on applying to the classroom teaching of listening through discussion, which can help students overcome listening obstacles and improve their listening ability.
