文明的本土化及其传承载体——中国阿拉伯字母体系汉语拼音“小经”文字历史演变考论

On Evolutionary History of Xiaojing Script——Chinese Pinyin of Arabic Alphabetic System

“小经”文字是一种阿拉伯字母体系拼音文字,它与穆斯林在华所使用的文字包括唐宋时期阿拉伯文、元明时期波斯文有密切的关联,这种关联为“小经”文字的出现造就了重要的语言文字背景,同时元末明初移入中原的穆斯林已本土化并学习和使用汉语,但未掌握汉文字,这也为该文字的出现创造了历史环境。在这种环境下“小经”文字于元末明初产生了,并在碑文、回回药方、“来文”等“小经”文献中有所反映。“小经”文字的产生对穆斯林文明传承发挥了重要作用。

Xiaojing script is an alphabetic system of writing, which is historically related to the writing systems used by international Muslims in China, particularly to that of Arabic language in the time of Tang and Song Dynasties and of Persian language in the time of Yuan and Ming Dynas- ties. Such relatedness is an important linguistic context for the appearance of Xiaojing script, which can also be attributed to the historical fact that the Muslim immigrants in the Central Plains in the turn of Yuan and Ming Dynasties tried to become indigenized. They learnt Chinese language but were not good at it.
