浅谈英语排比结构的衔接功能

On the Cohesive Function of English Parallelism

对作为修辞手法的英语排比结构的特点进行分析以研究它所具有的衔接功能,这里通过从句法、篇章和语音三个层面的分析发现,英语排比结构具有联系自然,衔接紧密,和语义连贯的特点,其衔接功能非常明显。

This paper is, by way of analyzing the features of the traditional rhetoric device -- parallelism, to study its cohesive function. Through the analysis from the syntactic, discourse and phonological level, we find that English parallelism has the following characteristics, such as natural connection, close cohesion and semantic coherence and that its cohesive function is clearly employed.
