摘要
城市群是区域经济快速增长的平台,根据美国经济地理学家诺瑟姆“S”型城市化发展道路,我国城市化已经进入加速发展阶段。文章通过西方城市经济学、区域经济学的区位理论,对海峡西岸经济城市群进行了比较研究,分析了经济区域城市化发展的主要特征和发展基础,提出城市化发展的路径。
