摘要
Cache是目前数据存储通道中的一个重要组成部件,它对优化数据存储通道系统性能具有意义。一般在数据存储通道中采用“乒-乓”型Cache,然而双页缓存技术的缺点是切换逻辑设计比较复杂,如果设计不当或者考虑不周,则更会导致数据的丢失。文章提出了一种延迟阈值型的单个缓存技术。从理论上指出如果阈值设定的较为合理,则采用阈值型单个缓存技术对减少系统I/O响应时间比采用“乒乓”型双页缓存技术要好。
As an important component in the data storage channel, cache has significant effect on optimizing data storage channel performance. The dual pages cache device is usually used in all kinds of systems. However, its switch logic circuit is so complicated that the data is lost if the switch instant is unreasonable and some details cannot be considerable. This paper presents a single page cache policy with delayed threshold. Theoretic analysis shows that the proposed method can exhibit effcient in reducing the system I/O response time than the dual pages cache if the threshold is properly chosen.
