The Context of Modernity and the Modernity of Literary Theory

对现代性的思考是我们无法回避的问题之一。但是,“现代性”概念的复杂性,以及中国“现代性”言说语境的复杂性,使它成为一个争论不休、歧义丛生的焦点。因此,有必要对此进行清理,以明确我们自己的言说立场、基础和背景,保留差异,增进讨论。

Modernity is one of the questions that we can＇t evade to think, and it become a controversial and ambiguous focus because of the complexity of the concept itself and the context of discussion in China. Therefore, it is necessary to clarify it in order that we can make clear the position, foundation and backgrounds of our speech, reserving the difference and promoting the discussion.
