《礼记·内则》“月辰”考辨

Some Notes on “yuechen” in Liji· Neize

释“月辰”为“月经”是没有根据的。“月辰”指农历的初一。由“辰”表“日月相会”义而来。

It is groundless to explain ＂yuechen＂（月辰） as ＂yuejing ＂（ 月经 ） . ＂Yuechen＂ is the first day in the lunar calendar, because one of the meanings of ＂chen＂ （ 辰 ） is the meeting of the sun and the moon.
