Influence of Population Factor on Sustainable Development of China

人口问题是影响中国可持续发展的首要问题。目前我国人口的现状是:人口规模庞大、城市化进程加快、性别比偏高、人口老龄化等。而且由于人口剧增,导致资源短缺、环境恶化。为了进一步协调人口、资源、环境,所采取的人口措施是:坚持计划生育基本国策,加大人力资本投入,发展教育和科学事业,针对人口结构的变化采取各种与市场经济相适应的社会保障制度等。

Population factor is the key problem which has influence on the sustainable development of China.Present situation of population in China shows next characteristics: very extensive scale of population,rapid urbanization,unbalance of sexual proportion,an aging population and etc.Population rapid growth causes the shortage of natural resource and the worsening of environment.In order to balance relationship between population,resources and environment,next measures should be took: adhere basic state policy of family planning,increase capital input of human resource,develop education and science,improve social security system and make it tally with population structure and market economy characteristics in China and etc.
