The Piecewise Model of "Crossing Yangtze River" in Mathematical Modeling Competition

抢渡长江问题的分段模型是2003年全国大学生数学建模竞赛D题的一种求解模型。文章着重探讨当水流速度线性变化时,游泳者在抢渡过程中速度大小保持不变,但游泳方向采取分段变化情况下的最优解。

The piecewise model of ＂Crossing Yangtze River＂ is a solution model of problem D in the National College Mathematical Modeling Competition of 2003. This paper discusses the optimal solution of the model when the swimmers adjust their swimming direction piecewise. It is supposed under the condition that the speed of the water changes linearly and the swimmers keep their speed of swimming constantly in crossing Yangtze River.
