Framework Design and Implementation Mechanism for a Production Workflow Management System

工作流管理是计算机支持协同工作(CSCW)中的一个重要领域,工作流管理系统(WfMS)是支持用户实现在需求不断变化的应用环境中流程处理的高效中间件.本文提出了由服务层、通信层和客户层三个层次构成的生产型工作流管理系统架构模型,描述了系统的核心服务,并通过一个基于J2EE平台的生产型工作流管理系统(Uniflow)实例描述其实现机制.

Workflow management is a main field of the Computer Supported Cooperation Work （CSCW）. Workflow management system is a powerful middleware that supports the user to implement business process in a dynamic application environment. The paper puts forward a 3-layer framework model,made up of service layer,communication layer and client layer,for production workflow management system, and describes core system services, and the implementation mechanism of the system is introduced in the case of production workflow management system （UniFlow）.
