The principle of imputation of environment tort responsibility is one of the important aspects of environment tort, but we have not given enough attention to the long - term environment law research and justice practice. The article which discusses the problem, insightingly from the economic point of view, analyses the strict liability and the negligence liability respectively, and probes into the efficiency and fairness in the principle of imputation of environment tort, tries to rethink the principle of imputation of environment tort responsibility.
