摘要
在探索中西方学者关于礼貌原则的基础之上,作者除采纳他们研究的一些成果外,还进一步讨论了礼貌原则的运用与学生学习动机和学习态度之间的关系。根据面子威胁理论,如果学生的正面子得以保全,他们的学习动机就会增强。相反,如果他们的负面子受到一定程度的威胁,就有利于培养他们正确的学习态度。因此,通过这样的教学方式。学生的学习能力也会得到提高。
On the basis of politeness studies by Western and Chinese researchers, this paper adopts some ideas of their achievements. What will be further discussed is the relationship between politeness and learners' motivation and attitude. According to face-threatening-acts, if the learner's positive face is saved, his/her motivation will be aroused; if his/her negative face is threatened, his/her positive attitude will be formed. Therefore, the learner's learning competence will get improved by applying politeness to English class.
