Influence of the Theories from Traditional Linguistics to Contemporary Linguistics upon Foreign Language Teaching

综述语言学研究的发展进程,总结了每个时期产生的语言学理论及其对外语教学理论与实践的影响,着重分析了以语料库语言学为代表的当代语言学的研究特点以及语料库语言学理论对外语教学理论与实践的影响。结语部分说明外语教学法是语言学的发展和语言教学相结合的历史发展积淀,从中也让我们看到了外语教学的发展规律。

This paper analyzes and summarizes the characteristics of the linguistic theories in all periods from traditional linguistics to contemporary linguistics, as well as their influence on foreign language teaching theories and teaching practice. It particularly analyzes the characteristics of corpus linguistics which is the symbol in the period of contemporary linguistics. The conclusion of the paper clarifies that foreign language teaching methodology is the fruit of the development of both linguistics and language teaching during these periods, and, at the same time, we can find the law of the development of foreign language teaching.
