On Features and Techniques of Journalistic Writing Translation

在一个信息化的社会里,新闻的作用和地位日益重要,新闻必须具有准确、简洁、生动和鲜明的特点。翻译是世界新闻传播的必经途径,新闻文体翻译的独特性决定了其有别于文学、科技等文体翻译。本文结合新闻文体翻译教学理论与实践,探讨了新闻翻译的几大特点,并提出了一些翻译的方法。

In an informationalized community, news, which takes precision, terseness and vividness as its features, is playing a more and more significant role. As is well known, translation is an absolutely necessary means for the world news to spread. The distinctive features of news determine its translation different from literary , scientific and technological translation. The present paper, which combines with the theory and teaching practice of journalist writing translation, discusses the characteristics of news translation, and puts forwards several applicable methods.
