冶金机电制造行业，在艰难的发展过程中，为冶金工业的今天做出了特殊的历史贡献。但由于技改投入的逐年减少，技术装备明显落后。为适应冶金工业“九五”优化产品结构、提高产品质量、更广泛的开拓市场的需要，在考虑冶金“九五”发展时，冶金机电制造行业应占有适当的比例，以期匹配的发展，更好地为冶金工业和国民经济服务。

Metallurgical mechanic-electronic manufacturing sector with arduous development makes contribution to present metallurgical industry. Owing to the technical innovation investment decreasing annually,the equipments lag behind obviously. In order to meet the needs of metallgical industry's optimizing product structure,improving quality and widening market,the sector should account for an appropriate proportion when considering the nineth five-year plan,so as to match to develop and serve the metallurgical industry and national economy better.
