对浙江的古代桥梁作了较为详尽的调查研究。按结构把古桥分为拱桥、梁桥、纤道桥、拱桥与梁桥结合的桥、八字形石桥、屋盖式桥和金属结构桥等７种主要类型。论述了它们的特点，并就古桥的艺术风格进行了探讨。

Based on the exhaust ive invest igation and research on the ancientbridges in Zhejiang,the bridges are ciassified into 7 types by structure: archbridge,beam bridge,towpath bridge, arch and beam bridge,rooflike bridge,metal structured bridge,and Bazi bridge.The distinguishing features and artstyle of the bridges are discussed.
