不同年代精神科住院患者死亡原因及死亡率分析

Analyses on death causes and mortality for in-patients of psychiatric dept. during different years.

目的探讨不同年代精神科住院患者的死亡原因及死亡率的变化趋势.方法对1961～2000年汕头市第四人民医院精神科住院的38225例病历进行回顾性调查分析.结果精神科住院患者死亡率为0.32%,随年代进程呈下降趋势（P＜0.01）.死亡原因主要是躯体疾病（43.9%）,其次是自杀和猝死.躯体疾病和自杀随着年代进程有显著下降的趋势（P＜0.01）.自缢为患者采用的主要自杀方式（81.25%）.结论随着医院管理水平的提高,新诊疗技术和新型抗精神病药物的推广应用,精神科医务人员应严格遵守规章制度,加强责任心,杜绝各类意外事件的发生.

Objective To explore the change tendency of death causes and mortality in in-panents oi psychiatric dept. during different years. Methods 38225 medical histories of the in-patients of psychiatric dept. , Shantou 4th People＇s Hospital during 1961 to 2000 were retrospectively studied. Results The mortality of psychiatric in-patients was 0.32% and tended downwards along with years＇ changes（P〈0.01）. Death cause was somatic diseases first（43.9%）, next suicide and sudden death. Somatic diseases and suicide tended downwards significantly along with years＇ changes（P〈0.01）. Suicide mode was mainly hanging oneself （81. 25%）. Conclusion Medical staff should maintain strictly rules and regulations and strengthen sense of responsibility in order to eliminate development of unexpected event.
