Jin Shen-tan bent his whole life to the literary talent in pursuit of fame and official rank. However, the change of the current political situation forced him to transfer from ＂Imperial Examinations＂ to ＂achieving glory by writing＂, which caused him to form a conscious or unconscious universal sentiment during his research on literary history.
