Poems in the Literature of the Sui ＆ Tang dynasties mark the highest achievement of Chinese ancient poetry. Not only did the poems develop into some genres but also into a variety of forms. This paper makes a simple analysis of the evolution of the poetic forms and offers a kind of reference to the research on the theory of poetry in the Sui ＆ Tang dynasties.
