蔡锷督滇期间对振兴云南实业提出过一系列主张,并亲自主持付诸实践,从而繁荣了云南的经济,推进了云南近代化进程。

Cai-E put forward a series of propositions on bracing up the industry of Yunnan province and tried his best to push them into practice during his superintending of Yurman. His industrial thoughts and his experiments flourished the economy of Yunnan of that time and accelerated the process of Yunnan＇s modernization.
