感生神话的主题是“知母不知父”,围绕这一文化现象形成了相互关联的三种观点：一、母系制群婚在亲属认同上的反映;二、原始人智力低下,不知“男女构精”而孕;三、原始宗教图腾信仰的表现形式.本文认为,持上述三说者虽然可以得到一些人类学调查材料与本国历史相比附,但即使在部落社会里,绝大部分地方感生神话的真正意蕴也是对祖先的神话化,并无任何神秘之处.

The theme of myths of ＂Gan - sheng＂ is knowing mother and not knowing father. There are three kinds of viewpoints. In this article the author thinks that most of the myths apotheosize primogenitors without mystery.
