As a special category of language, color terms reflect the Sapir-Wholf hypothesis concerning linguistic relativity. The paper begins with the linguistic symbol of ＂red＂ and makes a contrastive and analytical study of the cultural similarities and differences about it among the three languages for the purpose of promoting cultural communication and language teaching.
