梁启超思想的佛教精神

A study of the Buddhism spirit of LIANG Qi-chao's thoughts

梁启超于佛教早有因缘,梁氏的思想也深染佛教的精神。作为现代学术的奠基人,梁启超对佛教历史与典籍都有相当的研究。文章从佛教之信仰兼善非独善、广涉佛典愈治佛学史、兼摄佛学与西学互诠三个方面梳理梁启超对佛教的研究。

LIANG Qi-chao＇s relation with Buddhism started quite early in his career, as result his thoughts were very much influenced by Buddhism spirit. LIANG. Qi-chao, as a founder of modem academic research, did considerable amount of research in the history and classics of Buddhism. The paper is an attempt to study LIANG Qi-chao＇ s research in Buddhism research from the following three perspectives： Buddhism＇ s belief in good deeds but not in individual＇ s good deeds; commitment to rectify history of Buddhism via reference to Buddhist Scriptures and the complimentary relation between Buddhism and westem academics.
