Almost at the end of the second quarter, China＇s economy is still sizzling, with GDP-growth way above the official government target of eight percentage points. However, at the end of 2005, urban unemployment stood officially at 4.2 percent. Chinese experts reckon that the true figure is close to Io percent. Rural under and unemployment are two of the bigger problems.
