摘要 设计了一种离散频率的PFM控制方式。这种控制方式提供两个离散的工作频率,通过检测负载的变化,使电路在两个频率之间切换,从而实现PFM控制。这种控制方式简单、易于实现,轻负载时效率高,频谱分布有规律。在Boost变换器上实现了这种控制方式。该电路应用UMC 0.5μm CMOS工艺设计,经Hspice仿真验证,达到设计目标。 A pulse frequency modulation (PFM) with discrete frequency is designed. Unlike conventional PFM, this modulation supplies only two frequencies and automatically switches frequency when changes in load are sensed. The modulation has a simple structure, high efficiency in light load and regular distribution of spectrum. A control circuit with this modulation is implemented on a Boost converter. The circuit is designed based on UMC's 0.5μm CMOS process, and its performance has been verified by Hspice simulation.
