A low-power frequency-modulation （FM） transmitter is presented. The basic principle and architecture of the circuit, as well as its process technology, are described. Theoretical analysis is made and scheme for improvements is proposed. The circuit integrates functional modules including microphone amplifier, reference voltage, variable reactance, RF oscillator, buffer output, and complementary transistors into a single chip to compose a complete transmitter system. The circuit realizes the design idea of converting a complex system-on-board into a simple system-on-chip.
