Preliminary Analysis on Fast Mapping Method based on High Resolution Satellite Images

本文给出了基于高分辨率遥感卫星图像的快速制图方法，并对方法中所用的相关数据以及软硬件设施的要求进行了探讨。同时采用某一地区的高分辨率影像，按此方法制作了正射影像，并提取了矢量地物信息数据，验证了快速制图方法的可行性。预测市场应用前景十分广阔。

The fast mapping（FMAPP）method based on high resolution satellite images is given in this pa per. Its technological procedure and the requirements for correspondent data as well as software / hardware are discussed. Moreover, the orthophotos and vector map data are obtained by this method employing high resolu tion satellite images from an area. The experimental results indicate that the FMAPP method is feasible, and its future application potential is great.
