A Historical Investigation of the CPC's Concept of Development

本文主旨是从历史的角度考察发展,以马克思对人的终极关怀与现实关怀统一的社会发展观作为理论起点,探寻科学发展观产生、形成的理论基础;考察从毛泽东、邓小平到江泽民、胡锦涛为代表的历届中共中央,在既定时代条件下,为科学发展观的提出所作的理论贡献及其思想联系。进一步理清科学发展观形成的渊源脉络,揭示其与马克思发展观一脉相承的关系,以深化科学发展观的研究。

This paper makes an investigation of the CPC＇s concept of development from a historical perspective and, with the Marxist concept of social development unifying the ultimate concern and the realistic concern for man as a theoretical starting point, explores the theoretical basis of birth and formation of the scientific concept of development. The paper also investigates the concepts of development put forward, under given conditions of the times, by the CPC in different historical periods with Mao Zedong, Deng Xiaoping, Jiang Zemin and Hu Jintao respectively as its representative and the intellectual links of these concepts in their inheritance and development.
