英汉语言演变原因的共性探讨

古英语语法由综合语演变为分析语,元代的古汉语语音变化也很大,特别是汉语声调大转变。古英语语法与元代古汉语语音演变的总趋势的共同点都是由繁至简。二者这一演变原因具有相似的共性。探讨这一共性是有意义的。

The grammar of Old English changed from synthetic to analytical. The phonetic system of the Old Chinese during Yuan Dynasty changed tremendously, especially in Chinese tones. The common point in the evolutions of the Old English grammar and Old Chinese phonetic system during Yuan Dynasty is the general tendency from complicatedness towards simplicity. It is meaningful to investigate the universality in their evolutionary causes which have similarities.
