摘要
加拿大淘金客中既有实力强劲的矿业巨头,也有梦想一夜暴富的个体找矿人;有大获成功者。
Restricted by less-developed exploration technology and un-matured capital markets, lots of gold mines in China, the fourth largest gold producer in the world, are still undeveloped. The market vacancy and hefty returns amid a background of the surging gold price have made China a magnet for global mining companies. Canadians lead this wave of 'China gold rush', backed by their matured capital markets like Venture Exchange under the Toronto Stock Exchange Group. Statistics from China Mining Associate show, over 100 Canadian companies are now active in China's gold exploration market, with a total investment of 1.1 billion US dollar. Among them, some are independent mining explorers. However, the stakes are high too. Industry insiders believe only ten percent of the foreign companies have made profit.
