分布式数据处理的重要形式是分布式的数据。相对集中式数据库来说,分布式数据库更能反映组织的结构和职能,能够局部存储和局部控制,提高响应速度和数据可用性,减小通讯开销。重点讨论了分布式事务的管理目标、性质、两阶段提交协议、并发控制。

Distributed data is an important form of distributed data processing （DDP）, compared with centralized database,a distributed design can reflect an organization＇s structure or function, and can be stared locally,under local control. Local storage decreases response times and communications costs and increases data availability.This paper puts emphasis on presenting a framework for distributed transaction：management goals, properties, two phase commit protocol and concurrency control.
